Find Last Digit of barcode of Register / Speed Articles
The barcode of Indiapost registered/speedpost article contains 13 alpha numeric digits(2+9+2).
e.g.EGXXXXXXXXXIN OR RGXXXXXXXXXIN
Sometimes it is possible that out of 9 numeric digits, the last numeric digit of the barcode of speedpost/Registered article is not readable which is the most important in barcode number system. Here is some tricks I want to suggest that may help to find out the correct barcode number.
One example with calculation for the speedpost article EG231535726IN is given in screenshot to findout the last numeric digit. i.e. 6
This way you can find last numeric digit in most of the cases of speedpost/Registered Article.Try out one by yourself.
