Objective

To facilitate submission of monthly returns of Western Union Money Transfer Payments in electronic format to the Postal Accounts Office.

Prerequisites

.NET Framework Version 3.5
SQL Connectivity to Meghdoot Server
Internet Connectivity

The application file should be downloaded and copied to a node which can be used on a regular basis for submitting the returns.

Initialisation

Enter Meghdoot Server name and Password
Necessary configurations will be referred to from Meghdoot database
On clicking ‘Submit’ button, intial file will be submitted to the FTP server.

Schedules & Returns Submission


After the initial submission is over, date fields are visible for selection.
Returns should be submitted starting from July 2011 onwards.
Select the Accounting Period (Monthly. Eg. For SO: 28/06/2011-28/07/2011. For HO: 01/07/2011-31/07/2011) and Click ‘Submit’ to send the monthly returns.
‘Print Schedule’ option generates a “.csv” file in the application folder for viewing / printing the schedule.

NOTE:

1. File should be generated & submitted only after the completion of accounting period.
2. Printed  Schedule  and  Vouchers  MUST  be  sent  to  PAO  as  per  the  existing procedure.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST LOG IN TO THE NEW MAIL BOX

Step 1:  Obtain your new password. The password has been sent through SMS to you. If you have not 
received Please call any one of the following number.

Step 3:  Log in using your email ID and new password supplied to you.

Step 4: You will be prompted to change your default log-in password.  You have to compulsorily change the
password,
For the first time the user name should be entered as follows

Step3:  Your password must be at least 9 characters in length and have a combination of the 
following.
• English uppercase characters (A through Z).
• English lowercase characters (a through z).
• Base-10 digits (0 through 9).
• Special Characters (for example! $, #, %). Extended ASCII, symbolic, or linguistic 
characters.

Step 4:   You are now ready to use your mail box with new email id and changed password.
