Finacle Post Migration Check List by SA

After Finacle Migration, Completion of Finacle Desktop Settings ensure the following check list should be done by System Administrator.
1. Check preferred/alternate DNS Server Settings in Server / Client machine.
Note: Preferred and Alternate should not be Local server IP
2. Windows Automatic Update Should be turned off in Control Panel, to prevent from blocking of Java older version issues.

3. Java Check for Update also turned off. Some of latest version of java does not compatible for Finacle software
4. Better Screen Resolution of Operating System may be 1024*768
5. MS Office Should installed version 2007 or higher for TTUM Salary conversion Tool.
6. Ensure that Adobe / Foxit Reader addons should be enable in Internet Explorer 8 or higher

How to reset Internet Explorer settings

  1. Close all Internet Explorer and Explorer windows that are currently open.
  2. Start Internet Explorer. 
  3. Note If you are running Windows 8.1 or Windows 8, start Internet Explorer from the desktop. Changing your settings will affect both Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer that you start from the desktop.
  4. On the Tools menu, tap or click Internet options. If you don't see the Tools menu, press Alt.
  5. In the Internet Options window, tap or click the Advanced tab.
  6. Tap or click Reset. If you're using Windows Internet Explorer 6, click Restore Default.

Fix for KVP Discharge Report Problem

  • NO NEED to UNINSTALL any patches. 
  • DO NOT RUN “sp_kvp_tool.exe” again
  • This patch should be installed in ALL CLIENT & SERVER MACHINES

Steps for installation

  1. Close/Exit all screens in SanchayPost 7.5 application.  Make sure that application is not running.
  2. Click on “Patch 8.1 for SanchayPost 7.5.msp” file.
  3. Click on “Next” button. then click Update.
  4. Click on “Finish” button.Your “Patch 8.1 for SanchayPost 7.5” installation is complete now
