Recommendations of DoPT have been sent to DoE for approval Secretary (Exp) in the last week of Oct, 2018.

Proposal was found incomplete. MoR has been requested to send the complete proposal. Reminder has been sent on 28.09.2018.

Proposal was found incomplete. MoFHW has been requested to send the complete proposal. Reminder has been sent on 28.09.2018.

Note: A calendar of cadre review has been issued vide OM No.I-11019/9/2018-CRD dated 25.05.2018. The name of the Service/Cadre along with the month by which cadre review proposal is required to be submitted to DoPT is mentioned in the Annexure. The aforesaid OM dated 25.05.2018 is available on the official website of DoPT i.e. www.dopt.gov.in (Link: Notification > OMs & Orders > Cadre Review Division > General Circulars). The Cadre Controlling Authority may take immediate action for compliance.

On Invitation of Postal Administration discussion on Strike Charter of Demands was held today on 07.01.2019 at Dak Bhawan, New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Shri P.K. Bisoi, Member (Personal).

Both Secretary Generals of NFPE & FNPO and All General Secretaries of NFPE/FNPO UNIONS, AIPEU-GDS and NUGDS, took part in discussion.

As no fruitful result came out of negotiation, therefore it has been decided by the PJCA of NFPE,FNPO,AIPEU-GDS and NUGDS to conduct the Nationwide Strike on 8 & 9 January-2019 as per earlier notification.

Strike notice meeting results - All India association of Postal Supervisors

From AIAPS CHQ our beloved President ji have attended the meeting because of the eleventh hour invitation, General Secretary could not be taken part of that meeting.

Member P Shri.P.K.Bisoi was the chairperson and other directorate authorities were took part in that meeting.

Mandatory demands like restoring Old pension scheme, Assurance against corporatization of Postal Department and other departmental demands are not met out with concrete written assurances. So talks failed and meeting was not succesful.

Hence to record our entire dissatisfaction, against by the way, department and government are prolonging the genuine demands of Government  employees, hence to show our unity, solidarity support and to fetch out the demands by showing mass strength of government employees, it is hereby appealed all the members to participate two days nation wide strike on 08.01.2019 and 09.01.2019 and make it grand success.

POST OFFICE NATIONAL PENSION SYSTEM: INCOME TAX BENEFITS, TRANSACTION CHARGES, OTHER DETAILS

India Post or Department of posts, which runs the postal network of the country, also offers the facility of opening accounts under National Pension System (NPS). NPS or National Pension System is defined as a contribution pension system that provides social security to all citizens of the country. It is administered and regulated by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). Under this system, contributions from subscribers along with matching contributions from respective governments as an employer, are collected and accumulated in an individual pension account, which is identified by Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN).
Given below are salient features of Post office National Pension System (NPS):

Services offered

India Post allows subscribers to open new NPS (all citizens model) account and make subsequent contributions. All types of service requests and exit / claim withdrawal requests are also offered, stated India Post its official website-indiapost.gov.in

Eligibility citizens who do not come under any NPS sector and are aged between 18 and 64 years of age can open an NPS account with post office, it noted.

Types of accounts

There are two types of accounts that are opened under NPS: Tier I and Tier II. Tier I is a pension account and is mandatory. Tier II is a savings account and is optional.

After go live of payroll i.e after credit of december salary, pls check GPF balance.

Go to Reports - GPF ledger - execute. Confirm the correctness of GPF balance.

▪ For applying GPF withdrawal, employee have to login in to employee portal - Employee 

self service - Employee payment - GPF withdrawal - Fill amount - Reason - remarks and 

submit.

▪ For Single hand SPMs - The request will go for approval to Div head. For postman of 

sub offices, IP has to forward to Div head. For HO staffs, Postmaster has to forward to 

Div head. Div head to approve the request in SAP. Just as hierarchy for applying leave.

and all are request to authorize ZHR_PAYSLIP menu for generating pay slip.

▪ After the GPF has been approved, the concerned DDO has to go to

ZPY_MENU-->Active Employees-->GPF withdrawal-->GPF Withdrawal : Update and then 

press F8 or Execute to view the approved list. Then select the entries and click or 

process(execute icon).
